We would like Training in the JAZZ API.

HI,

We would like to learn how to utilize and use the JAZZ API. We would like to be able to write code to extract / update / change data from the servers.
We would like to be able to do this for the Administrative side, Users, Projects etc and the Application side, items, test cases etc.

The team has scripting / programming experience but nothing in JAVA.
What is the prescribed route please?
Training courses?
Work books?
Self study?

We have seen lots on REST/ OSLC etc, but they seem to concentrate on just RTC, we want to be able to access ALL applications and Administrative side of servers. Simular to what you can do with the ClearQuest API.

I hope you can help.

Best wishes

Mark.

Starting from some sample codes and use case/scenarios are always helpful.

 Mark,

Are you interested in a class in a classroom environment?  Is this something for 15 students or a department of users?  I suggest that you reach out to Charles, who oversees our training activities.  He can be reached at charles@abs-consultin.com to discuss options available.

the below forum post has some pointers that may prove to be helpful

And the following article describes the difference between the rest and java API
