Prompt Macro in 10.2.1 Framework Manager

Maxim Ilyaev (2111) | asked Apr 03 '14, 8:36 a.m.
Hello,
When using a prompt macro in Framework Manager 10.2.1, the following error is returned:
QE-DEF-0144 Prompt "prompt name" has no substitution values
The same prompt macro works in earlier versions of FM (such as 10.2).
That means I can't validate the query subject.

I've found this link:
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1PM93253

It suggested to install "IBM Cognos Business Intelligence 10.2.1 Fix Pack".
I've managed to install it on the Rational Insight server, but it didn't resolve the issue in FM.
What am I missing?

Thanks in advance,
---Max

After installing "IBM Cognos Business Intelligence 10.2.1 Fix Pack 1 win32/x86" version on FM machine - the problem resolved!

What steps were necessary to apply the fix pack to your solution?

  1. Download "Cognos BI 32-Bit 10.2.1 FP1 Windows" from here:
    1. Unzip the downloaded file somewhere - the file looks like this:"up_bisrvr_win32_10.2.5001.156_ml.tar"
  2. Run: win32\issetup.exe and when prompted point to RRDIDevTools\cognos directory (For example: D:\IBM\RRDIDevTools\cognos)
