Eclipse CLM Online Help Content (Infocenter) Configuration Problem

Marko Tomljenovic (31645109) | asked Apr 01 '14, 10:38 a.m.
Hello
When running the RTC Eclipse Client it is by default configured that the CLM help is located on http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/[version]

Since we are behind a company firewall we cannot access this URL easily.

From what I see in the eclipse plugins the clmhelp.war itself is even contained in one of the RTC eclipse plugins: com.ibm.ccl.ut.warcontainer_3.0.1.v20140121_0942

We have also setup a dedicated infocenter (containing this help content) within our corporate network.

Is there a way to define the URL of the dedicated infocenter to be the default help content provider?
We tried this using the "plugin_customization.ini" approach for Eclipse applications. But the values are not taken.

Is there another way (e.g. via system properties) to tell where the help content is located?

Thank you

Some more details on our Eclipse client:

We are currently using Eclipse Platform 3.8.2 but will be moving soon to 4.3.2.

Hi Marko,
To access the help content from your intranet server, you can configure from Windows > Preferences, expand Help >Content.
Please see https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.help.common.rational.remote.doc/topics/t_change_location_of_help.html for the detail steps.
