Kanban view for work items not associated with a plan

Javier Plumey (1822) | asked Mar 19 '14, 9:20 a.m.
We'd like to use RTC for developer and analyst tasks that are not associated with a development effort (no iteration, release, etc.) and we'd prefer to use a Kanban style view for work item in various states.

Is there some way to accomplish this without a plan?

no.. you have to have a plan to use the kanban board.

just make one release and iteration.. no end date.

Seems like a bit of a hack, doesn't it? As a tool for team collaboration, RTC seems focused only on developers.

has nothing to do with developers.. the implementation of the (task/kanban) Board requires a containing 'plan'.. but to get a Plan you need people(team) and time.

and I think you are working on SOMETHING with some schedule (time) and there are people doing it (team)..
