Category Validation Policy using the schema name

Mihai Cosma (1322) | asked Mar 19 '14, 5:26 a.m.
I'm trying to use the Category Validation Policy to see if any categories in a category schema was selected.

When I use "Category Schema Name/First level category" in the Required Categorization field it seems to work.

The problem is that I would like only "Category Schema Name" in the Required Categorization field, because I have a lot of categories in the schema and it is difficult to manage and confusing for the end user to have a big number of policies.

The contextual help near the Required Categorization field states that the category schema name can be used and the categories are optional. I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong?

 Hi Mihai,
This is a defect. category vlidation policy could not accept categorization without category name. I'll open a wi against that. paste it later. Sorry for the inconvenience we caused.
