Do we got any test or trial version available to get hands-on on the ClearCase to RTC Migration and find out the best practice?

Looks like there is no trail version available in ClearCase and so we are stuck to do the Proof of Concept.

If you have a running CC installation, you don't need any CC trial license but a RTC trial license, and this should be available in thje RTC download (for 60 days I think).

greetings georg.

But Its the other way around, Georg. We dont have CC setup but have RTC setup, which is why we look for the CC setup to do the POC.

Oh, sorry.
You can contact IBM for getting some trial keys.

There is no special ClearCase code or licenses that are required to run the RTC CC Synchronizer/Importer ... all of the code and licenses are part of the RTC release.   The only requirement is that your ClearCase version be at a certain minimum level (the exact version requirements are specified in the ClearCase Synchronizer/Importer on-line documentation).

Agreed, Geoffrey. But I just need a trial version ClearCase system to get a hands on first to understand which migration tool would be suitable for our requirement. I'm not able to do that due to the unavailability of trial version ClearCase system. Buying ClearCase license only for this handson would really not be a right option for us. would be helpful if we get an online clearcase sandbox from IBM with certain timeline to do such things.

Perhaps you could clarify why you are interested in evaluating a ClearCase migration tool if you do not currently have a ClearCase system to migrate.   For example, if your company is offering ClearCase-to-RTC migration as a service, and want to gain experience with that technology, then we could probably get you licenses under the business partner program.
