Creating Users in RTC with Federated User registry

Hi,
I have installed a RTC setup With a combination of WAS+orcale+Federated .How can i create users to add them as  project members. I created users in WAS and mapped them to jazz group but still i'm not able to see that users in jazz server.
If I Use LDAP user registry i will get Sync option but in federated how can i import the users.

Hi Firoz,
To user Federated user management, in https://clm-server:port/jts/setup step 6 Setup User Registry, you need to select "Non-LDAP External Registry" as the type.
To add a new user, you need to create the user in WAS first, then in jts/admin user management page, click "Create User" button and input the same userid in CLM.

Thank you Lily . Its working

Thanks for this feedback about new users. I have 2 questions :

1) How can I synchronize a user from my WAS to JTS if for example a user is added on the Admin group.

2) Actually, my Jazz server is configured only on a simple LDAP connection. I am going to change this configuration to a federated connection using WAS. How can I synchronize my user from LDAP to WAS ? In fact, my user has been lost all references to groups

@liwang @firozkhan
I have created a new user but group are not set automatically ...
Have you got an idea ?

Hi Mathieu,

1) How can I synchronize a user from my WAS to JTS if for example a user is added on the Admin group
Ans: JTS only synchronize users from LDAP server if the user registry type is LDAP.

2) How can I synchronize my user from LDAP to WAS ?
This is a question related to WAS. I don't know any tool can do that. You may double check with WAS support.

Hi Lily,
Thanks for your feedback.
In fact, I was surprised because when I use LDAP with Federated repo on WAS, if for example, a user is member of JazzUsers, this information is not visible on Jazz. Very strange but this information is only on WAS
