RTC Windows Shell client4.0.4: how to complete stop scm.exe?

When using RTC Windows shell client 4.0.x, I notice that if I connect to the project area from the shell client, scm.exe will start up in the Task Manager. However, when I logout from the project area and close the shell client, scm.exe will stay there.

1) Is this expected behavior? Do I have to kill scm.exe from the task manager manually or there is any way to logoff/close shell client and terminate scm.exe automatically?

2) What is the proper way to complete stop RTC shell client?

Please shed some lights on this. Thanks
