We have 3 release cycles 601,602 and 603 . We have few automated cases applicable to 601 and 602 ,assume let it be 200.Few automated cases applicable to 601,602 ,603 and assume let it be 400. Now want to know only those cases which are applicable only to 601 and 602. When i select 601 and 602 checkboxes in Automated Release field, it gives test cases marked as 601,602,603 as well..so not able to get accurate result

But as time goes on..we may have large number of releases which leads to large combination of values..can we make RQM to search only for the value provided?  What i mean is now if we select checkboxes for 601 and 602 and search, even the test cases marked for 601,602,603 also appears..this causing a problem..We want it to display only those cases marked as 601,602

So, you want a query which will tell include 601 & 602 but not 603. Right now it is not supported. As a work around, you can create category value as "601,602", "602,603", "603,601" and "601,602,603". The test cases which are applicable to 601 and 602, for those select "Automated Release as "601", "602" and "601,602". Then you filter by "601,602"
