Can a Kanban board with 12 columns be setup?

Dave Mace (111) | asked Jan 22 '14, 2:02 p.m.
I'm involved with building pages for a website. This involves a number of steps (about 12) along a well defined page build workflow.  Each step can be viewed as a column in a kanban board. A page would "flow" across the board as it's developed. Is it possible with the latest version of RTC to create a Kanban Board with 12 columns where the titles reflect the page build workflow steps? The columns would not necessarily be the same for another project in RTC.

far as I know, the answer is no.

you have New, In Progress and Closed as the three columns.

in RTC you would create a block of workitems with the depends/parent<->child to document the flow of work to the goal.
then u can see the work flow across the kanban board
those dependant on others cannot complete, etc.. stuff not started in New, etc..

Hi Dave

You can define multiple columns in the kanban.
In the below plan I have added a new column called Approved.
I was able to do so by defining a new state group in RTC Eclipse client work item work flow configuration.
I am using RTC 4.0.5.
