Ordering Test Cases for Printing

Chris Del Priore (145) | asked Jan 15 '14, 2:16 p.m.

In a test plan I have 41 test cases. If I select the “test cases” list under planning they are in random order.

Views = General

Group By = Ungrouped

Show All = Items per page

I select and move a test case up 2 spots so it is in the correct sequence.

I see message of unsaved changes and I select “Save”  the test case moves back to the original place not what I tried to save.

What am I doing wrong?

I have tried this on Linux – Firefox, Windows – Firefox, Windows – Internet Explorer. Same results.

Needless to say all my PDF’s exported of the Test Plan have all test cases and test scripts in a random order.

 Hi Chris,

Looks like you are running into defect Not able to change order of test cases in test plan (99153). It is fixed in the next release 4.0.6.
