Advance Release Burndown and Total Project Points are different

Laurentiu Popescu (133) | asked Jan 14 '14, 5:54 p.m.
We have a new project that shows different  points in the Advance Release Burndown vs the total project points.
we've looked at the other forum issues with the Advanced Release Burndown, but it has not fixed our issue.
The Advance Release Burndown still shows 1300 points vs 2223 pts totally.
we are using RTC 4.0.2

Any idea how the total points vs Advance Release Burndown points are added in RTC?
Thanks
