What if a team (team area) need to work in several timelines at the same time?
hi everyone, I ve been reviewing the forum but I ve not found a clear answer to my question.
It seems that a team area belongs to only one timeline right?, so what is the best way to implement the case of a team who should work in several timelines?
I mean, suppose that we have several timelines in the same Project Area
Now we have found that it would be good having a team (lets say QA) who will work across all the timelines.
I wonder how that should be implemented in RTC
Option 1. One specific team area per timeline containing the same people (For Example QA-tl1, QA-tl2 ...)
Option 2. One team area an assign it to all the timelines (if such a thing is possible I am not sure)
Option 3. Any suggestion?

Hi Jose,
Currently RTC does not allow a team area to be associated with multiple timelines. So you have to create specific team area for each timeline (option 1). However the request is tracked by https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Foundation#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=99436. You can vote and subscribe to the enhancement request. |
