Sandra Santos (3212425) | asked Jan 10 '14, 3:44 p.m.
 Hi,,
Is there a way do clone a workitem ? (Like copy and paste to create a new one and accelerate the new workitem creation process once they are similar sometimes) ?

Thanks
Sandra

Hi Sandra

The WebUI has built-in support for this
Just press the yellow shaded button in the WebUI (Create Work Item Copy)

If you have the work item open in the eclipse client, there is a little arrow next to the Type and work item number in the upper-left corner.  Click the little arrow and in that menu, select "Create Work Item Copy".  It prompts you for a set of attributes to copy the value of.

I didn't see the option anywhere in the web client.
