Currently Discussion Comments are ordered "oldest first, newest last".

But as in long email discussions, where each response is added to the FRONT of the discussion rather than the END, I think it would be more intuitive for Discussion Comments to be ordered "newest first, oldest last".

I'm sure I shouldn't post to just say 'I agree' but I think it's worth it here to say so and point out there might be more than just one person interested in this alternative view.
