Ask a question

Are data from customized work item types and attributes automatically collected into the RTC Data Warehouse along with OOTB ones ?

We are using highly RTC customized work item types with customized attributes, do we have to do anything to get data from these collected into the Data Warehouse ?

And how do we modify Insight canned reports to pick them up ?

If you are using the ETL's and Framework Manager data model that are downloaded from the RTC server you will get these custom attributes by default.

When updating reports in Report Studio, in the Operational Data Store under the 'Request Area' folder, see the Extension options like Request String Extension, Request Boolean Extension, etc.  The custom attributes are found there by type.

Thanks Jackie. Will try your suggestions. New to Insight, will have to get familiar with the Report Studio yet.

Not sure what you mean by "the ETL's and Framework Manager data model that are downloaded from the RTC server": Do we have to do something more than just make sure that the data collection jobs are all running successfully or just run them ?

What do I need to do to see any of the extension options: Only get Req, rCategory, rChangeHistory, rPriority, rRelated ...., rRelationalLink, rResolution, rSeverity, rState, rStateHistory, rStatus, rType, rTypeBinding.
