Hi Abhinav

--> Can you post the complete error message in the Eclipse metadata.log?
It should be in the following location:

(<workspace_dir>/.metadata/.log

--> Does the RTC client and the server versions match here? What versions are they on? There has been one instance where this message was seen due to a mismatch in the client and server versions.

Sumant any comment on this.......??/

Abhinav

--> You might want to raise a PMR with IBM Rational Client Support, if critical.

--> Alternatively, have you defined a new work item type with lot of custom fields and presentations in your process? If so, can you try to reduce the number of attributes and presentations to understand what breaks the eclipse UI?

See if you can reduce it a certain point and load the work items just fine.

--> You need to find the field that caused the Eclipse load error.

The value for some attribute, which is incorrect value is causing the eclipse load error. You need to find that attribute

Example:

- "lastAlterTime" type="timestamp"

Could you try this?

Checking into logs its giving me Null Pointer Exception(java.lang.nullpointerexception),which is the probable reason for this error..so how to solve this in RTC
