What is the effect of changing Iterations on TCERs after execution?

Paul Spalitta (8143037) | asked Nov 13 '13, 10:22 a.m.
Hello,

Is there any downstream effect of changing a TCER's Iteration after the TCER has been executed? Test Case Results store the Iteration value and that value doesn't change even if the parent TCER has it's Iteration changed. Other than that difference between the TCER and TCR I don't see any other negative effects from changing the TCER's Iteration.

Thanks,

Paul

Reports on TCER execution status may include results from multiple iterations (because the TCER will have results of tests that were run while the TCER iteration value was iteration 1 AND while the TCER iteration value was iteration 2.)
