Hi,

I´ve successfully created a valueset picker attribute using value set provider following this tutorial: https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/DataSourceValueSetProviders

I´m fetching XML data using HTTP Connector, it is working fine but I´ve have a encoding issue.

My XML encoding is ISO-8859-1; when I open it with an internet browser it shows fine, but when I open the WI´s value set combo, the values that have accents are showing with special characters.

Is it possible to set the encoding to show the values in the right encode?

Are you using the browser to also check the combo box entries?

I am not sure this is a good idea or not, but the problem may be that your XML encoding is ISO-8859-1. What happens if you change this to say UTF-8? It could be that the code expects the XML to be encoded in something like UTF-8.
