Excel Graph on RTC Dashboard

Jamie Schena (531521) | asked Oct 24 '13, 12:22 p.m.
I am using RTC only from the Web UI. I have a graph in excel that I would like to put on my dashboard. I have been told that this can be done through the HTML widget. Can anyone explain how I do this?

Thanks!
Jamie

  1. Save the chart in png or jpg format and place it in a web server directory that can be accessed using a url
  2. Add the 'HTML' widget to your dashboard
  3. Edit the HTML widget (pencil icon) and click on the 'Insert Image' icon and then paste the url for the image
  4. Click 'OK' to save the widget

Note that you can reference any work item attachment by URL, so all you have to do is upload an image as an attachment to a work item and copy the URL from the link.

 Hi,

Even the URL is not needed. You can Ctrl+C the image  (Snipping tool or Print Screen) from your PC and Ctrl+V on your HTML Widget. That will work.
