Triaged State of a Defect Workitem

What does Triaged state means for a defect workitem ? When someone will move the defect into this state and when defect will move out of this state ?

Hello,
On teams I have worked on, Triaged means someone has taken a look at the defect and perhaps determined whether it is valid and whether it needs immediate attention. The defect moves from New to Triaged when the person responsible for triaging (often, a team lead) reads and processes the defect. It moves out of Triaged when a developer starts working on it. Note also that if you encounter a workitem in the RTC project that is in
the Triaged state but has no "Planned-For" value, then you can conclude that there are no plans to work on that workitem. Since this interpretation isn't always understood, some RTC teams make this explicit by setting the Planned-For field to something like "Post-2.0". Cheers, Geoff mandrew wrote: Hello, |
