I'm trying to find a documentation about how to set a Iteration as Backlog Iteration but until now I did not find it.

Some one know how to set a iteration as Iteration Backlog

Thanks.

I just wonder, why this is option is "hidden" that far away from the iteration configuration dialog. And why is it not possible to set this in the Web UI?

Open the Project Area in Eclipse Client > Project Configuration > Configuration Data > Planning > General > from the Backlog Iteration section > select the Iteration under a timeline and use the icon on the right top in that section to set that iteration as the backlog iteration.

hope it helps.
