Jazz APIs to connect tools from different vendors

T M (8876187143) | asked Feb 12 '09, 11:19 a.m.
If I have Tool A from Vendor A and Tool B from Vendor B, can I use Jazz to connect Tool A and Tool B? For this to work is there any requirement to use any Jazz based products like RTC, RQM or RRC? Please let me know.

The Jazz server products do not provide any generic support for helping
you connect any two software products. There are ways to make the
various Jazz based products integrate together (with more improvements
coming in 2.0).

Do you have any specifics about what two tools you are trying to connect
together?

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your post! I have Serena Dimensions and a proprietary tool to be connected. But the vision of Jazz is to provide a platform for integrating various tools through the APIs and not just the Jazz based products!

Thanks
Theju
