Is it possible to filter the list of Project Areas returned by "Manage Connected Project Areas"?

IBMers will appreciate this one...

I would like to have all Project Areas that start with the string "SCCA" NOT appear in the "Manage Connected Project Areas" for all users except admins.

Is this possible?

Currently, the Manage Connected Project Areas dialog shows all project areas that the user has read access to. So if you want certain project areas to not appear there the only way to do it is to actually change the Access Control of each project. This would mean users would really not be able to access those projects, though, which might be more than you want.

If you did want to go the Access Control route, you could make those project areas visible only to admins by opening the Access Control tab and setting the visibility to "No one (repository administrators only)".
