 Hi Rational Users,

Been using rational for some time now, got numerous project areas some of which are no longer needed, is it possible to archive a project area so it can only be viewed from time to time?
Are there any benefits to archiving the project areas? E.g. does it improve performance?

Also sometimes when I run the performance stats on the tool it gives a high reading for Database latency (6+ ms) - when I took the below it happened to be low however. Any suggestions for maintenance on this?

You can archive project areas to remove them from view (reducing clutter), but it doesn't really affect performance.

See these links for documentation on archiving project areas.
These links are for the 4.0.3 Information center. There are comparable topics on archiving and restoring project areas in previous versions of the information center too.
