Hi together,

we have already used RTC and also RQM but both as standalone.
Now we want to create create a lifecycle project with RTC and RQM.
We use the scrum process template.

I am in doubt about what is the right way to deliver work items from RTC to RQM.
If the developer has completed his work how the tester gets the task for testing?

Is there a view in RQM like all work items which are implemented or ready for testing?

Or must i assigns all implemented work items to a tester?
Maybe i have only to assign stories?

Can someone say me whats the envisaged or best practice way to do this?

The best way is to track the progress / status through RQM Dashboard. I had provided few screen shots of the dashboard
1. select the RTC queries and place them to RQM dashboard to see the latest state of the WI

2. status of the RTC builds in RQM Dashboard

3. Associating any automation testing with the build completion ( success / failure)

hope it helps

Thank you for your help.

It seems for me that a lifecycle querie shows only open items.
What's with items which were already implemented within a previous iteration and their test case has failed now?

Whats the right way to trigger a fix for failed test cases?
Has the tester to create a defect within RQM and link it to the failed test case so that the developer in RTC can use the "Defects blocking Tests" query?
