Doors NextGen Vs RRC

Qaiser Islam (31287074) | asked Aug 01 '13, 3:50 p.m.
I just configured rational system engineering 4.0.3 suite, includes rtc,rqm and doors nextgen. but i could not figure out how it is different from RRC. the Web interface of Doors NextGen is exactly similar (as far as i explored). if both the application are same with just naming difference than how can we categorize one suitable for system engineering and other for software engineering. the rich client is also just showing the same content in desktop application not adding any new feature

thanks,
Qaiser

DOORS NextGen is using the same WebUI as you see in RRC - so there is no real difference.

See here for a comparison of the DNG client and the RRC Web UI.  There is also an article here which outlines the differences between DNG and RRC.  Hope it helps,
