missing required license, but not really

I've had two different folks this morning report that they received the "Missing required license" message when using Accept Team Invitation. The details are that they need a CC or CQ Connector license or a Developer or Build system license (they both have Contributor licenses).

Yet, they both end up with working RTC configurations and are able to add/update work items and can see into all the different areas. For all intents and purposes, the error message seems bogus.

So, did: (1) security break down and they some how should not have been allowed in or (2) is something actually broken that isn't obvious and will bite us later or (3) is the message a bug?

Both of these users were involved in our last release using RTC. I think they both installed the Eclipse UI for the first time (they only used the Web UI previously) and were accepting the invitation to the new Project Area. Everything at RTC 1.0.1 at this time.

They would be presented with that type of license error if the Eclipse
client was trying to do something that a Contributor could not do.

Contributors are allowed to add/update work items so that part makes
sense.

It sounds like the process code that handles accepting a team invitation
tries to do something that only a developer can do. Can you open a new
workitem for the problem, because it should be possible to send team
invitations to Contributors.
