Querying the REST API (RTC)

Marcia Zilliacus (834) | asked Jul 24 '13, 10:28 a.m.

After creating a custom attribute, the attribute comes back under

mediumStringExtensions. How can you specify fields as an input to the

REST API such that you can filter by values in mediumStringExtensions?

Is there any way to create a custom attribute that "sits" at a higher

level in the XML output?

See https://jazz.net/forum/questions/104578/is-there-a-way-to-filter-a-reportable-rest-url-by-the-value-of-a-custom-attribute
All custom attributes are returned by the API grouped by their type (String, Integer, etc).  There is no way to change this behavior.
