Hi,

We got a new requirement for

1. Creating a new Child Test Plan

2. Link with 10 TestCases ( which has got linked TestScripts) to the TestPlan

Questions go as below

Q1. Do we have an option for linking an existing TestPlan ( with an ID number) along with TestCases at the time of importing.

Note: We have seen an option for linking Requirements + TestCase + TestScripts at the time of importing. ( using rqmexcel importer utility)

Manually we can establish link but if we have many records it is time consuming.

Let us know the best approach based on my scenario.

do you mean the testcases are newly created but you want to link them with the testplan?
if you I think you could have a try with the testcase.testplan=LinkExisting(id)

Hi Hao,

We have tried the same but it not work. Could be an issue with our existing version ie 2.0.1 iFIX5

 Hi anoop,

I think LinkExisting is from 4.0 verison of Importer.
