Relocate CLM server (All servers JTS, QM, RM, CCM) V4.0x

Hi,

I understand that there is a way to move an entire server AND change the public URL at the same time?

We would need to move the sever and completely change the DNS name and public URL etc, and also the base OS, the only constant would be RepoTools exports from the databases!

I vaguely remember that Rational support are able to supply a parcel of code to make the URL changes.

Can anybody assist / comment have done this already please?

You will need a server rename key to enable the change of public uri.

This key can be obtained from IBM Rational Support by logging a PMR and answering the the Server rename checklist questions in the below link:

You are correct. To enable the server rename feature you need to contact Ration Support by opening a PMR.
Support will work with you in the PMR to carry out your scenario.
