Upgrading JTS from v4.0.2 to v4.0.3 - How to revert if something goes wrong?

Hello,
I am preparing to upgrade our JTS server from version 4.0.2 to version 4.0.3. I've read all the instructions about it from http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0m3/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.jazz.install.doc%2Ftopics%2Froadmap_clm_upgrade.html and it seems to be straight forward. My only concern is, if something goes wrong while executing the upgrade scripts, how do I recover my version 4.0.2? Suppose the back end database is left in limbo land (neither v4.0.2 nor v4.0.3), how do I restore the previous working state? Yes, the database would have been backed up before the upgrade but would simply restoring the back up restore everything?

Thank you.
Mamadou Diallo

Restoring the DB from the back up  should be enough to revert back to the 4.0.2 environment..

I would also backup the indexes.  This is not needed if you plan on rerunning the repotools index commands after resstoring the DB.

Please read https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/BackupCLM and be sure you can restore successfully.
