Is it possible to mix RTC trial licenses with permanent licenses ? This could be necessary if the customer wants to increase the number of licenses but the signature of the contract is delayed (for example, because the approval process of the customer takes long). This scenario is a temporary situation because the customer will have the new licenses available in a short period of time.

Thanks in advance, Maria José.

It is possible but having the temporary licenses installed can limit the usage of the paid licenses.
For example distributed SCM will not work if you have the Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management - Practitioner    Trial  licenses installed. And it can be difficult to remove the temporary licenses after the fact as well.
See Defect 266158 for more info
This is also true when you have the workgroup licenses mixed with the non-workgroup ones.
Keep in mind just having them installed can cause a problem even if the user has not been assigned one of the temporary licenses.

See the client license overview for more info on the various license usage
