When can we expect to see the next integration build?
Hi,
I understand the next milestone build will be available around 10/10/2007. The last integration build was posted on 8/10/2007. When can we expect to see a new integration build posted on Jazz.net? Will it be soon? In general, what is the policy governing the integration build releases? Is it based solely on getting out a "good" build? Or is it also tied to some major API changes? There are new builds on jazz.net now (most recent from September 6 - we're currently using this for smoke testing in preparation to build a self-hosting candidate for next week).
If a build runs green, it goes up automatically. We've had intermittent test failures and other issues that have kept us in the red. The test failures do not always reflect problems with the build, so "red" builds may get pushed up after the test failures are waived off. |
FYI: We run an integration build every Monday night and work through any problems Tuesday and sometimes Wednesday. We only publish a subset of our integration builds' artifacts on Jazz.net (e.g. integration builds that we deploy for our own self-hosting), but they can be found here: https://jazz.net/downloads/DownloadList.jsp?type=integration Twice a milestone we deploy an integration build to self-host on, as you can see in the milestone plan that Remy linked to. |
