My customer became aware that their RTC db increase exceeded their expectation and it has reached physical hard disk limit. My customer would like to know if there are ways to reduce RTC database size

eg. via delete/purge large volume attachment files, then free up database.

I did a quick search on jazz.net, however I only found information on Change Event scrubbing

We need to know if there is a way to reduce size of database by deleting/purging data, apart from change event scrubbing.

Hi DH,
You can look what objects are using the most of the space in your database: https://jazz.net/forum/questions/111357/how-to-check-which-tables-are-using-the-most-space.
If you do not understand the report generated there, feel free to open new PMR for the support.
Let us know if it helps for you.

Best regards,
Krzysztof Kazmierczyk.

If your customer checks in large files into source control, those can be purged using content delete. Content delete is available since 4.0.
