Manual Test Script - reporting step functionality?

When working with a manual test script in RQM, are the steps that are marked as "reporting steps" utilized anywhere else?  Meaning, is there a report  that exposes the reporting steps and how many have passed/failed etc?  Or is it meant to simply cue the person doing the testing that the step results should be examined?  So far, I am not seeing the results of reporting steps rolled up anywhere, but will keep looking! 

Thanks for any pointers or advice on how to use reporting steps!

presently none of the OOTB(out of the box)reports report on the step level execution  of the script.

A breakdown of step results by step type (execution steps and reporting steps) is included in the test case results Summary section. Expand the Summary section to see the bar graph:
