API Javadoc for the Jazz Repository Component

Fausto Lemos (16811518) | asked Dec 11 '08, 7:58 a.m.
Hi,

we are developing some stuff to customize (more) the development process on our TC, and for that purpose we loaded some plugins into the workspace and start to work. Looking at the following URL:

https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/ApiJavadoc

we try to generate the necessary javadoc of the API, but we cant found the referenced project that contains the ant build file.

We downloaded all this zip files and search but no one has the contents.

- JazzTeamServer-Source-TAG.zip
- TeamConcert-Source-TAG.zip
- JazzJUnitTests-TAG.zip

Tks!

The Javadoc generation is intended for those developing the Repository
component, so I doubt that the Ant script will work for you. For it to
work you're going to have to have the entire Repository stream loaded.

I believe that the reason you cannot find the Ant script is because it
lives in a bundle that is not packaged in the source build.

I'll take a look and see if there's anything we can do.

Hi,

I am also looking for the file com.ibm.team.jazz.server/doc/scripts/build.xml
as specified in the site https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/ApiJavadoc

fausto were you able to follow step 2?

2)From within RTC, choose Run > External Tools > Build Repository Javadoc.

I don't see the button "Build Repository Javadoc" in my TC

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
anyway/scripts to generate the javadocs of ALL plug-ins imported into our workspace?

Thanks

Sorry for the slow response. The wiki page was created to help other
RTC developers build Javadoc, but we have not yet integrated the
building the Javadoc into the builds.

One solution, and it's probably a better answer, is to load the RTC
source features into your environment, and then the Eclipse tool will
give much better integration of Javadoc in the IDE.
