How to deal with resource time assignment in work environment?

Jia Jia Li (8057152192) | asked May 13 '13, 10:53 a.m.
As the summary, resource default has 8 work hours and 5 days a week, but I think most of the resource are not full time for team development, they have to attend meeting, discuss solution/problem and so on. I know there are time codes in RTC for time claim, also absent time.
I want to know in real project, how do you arragenment your work time, maybe only 80% of time arranged for projects. Thanks!

The resource allocation is the way you can specify how much % of time you are spending in each of the project area or team area you are member of.
The percentage will be actually specified for the team area and time line combination.
If you feel you work for just 80% and rest 20% goes in the meetings and other activities then you can keep the total to 80%. The tool tries to always keep at 100%.
