Plan requirement coverage details - Question

Srikanth Bhushan (16942734) | asked May 03 '13, 7:30 a.m.

Just want to understand how this report works.

1. We have RQM 3013 integrated with Reqpro

2. Test Plan TP1 - Associated with Reqpro requirements Req1, Req2, Req3

3. Test Plan TP1 - Associated with Test Case TC1

4. TC1 - Associated with Reqpro Requirements Feat1, Feat2, Feat 3

5. Feat 1 is linked to Req1 in Reqpro

When I run this report "Plan requirement coverage details " the Test case section is all blank.

It shows Test Plan Name - Requirements ID and Requirements (req1 - 3) and Test cases are blank.

Is this the expected behavior?

Should the requirements lined in reqpro should also be considered?

Linking your ReqPro requirements with the test plan and adding the test cases to the test plan. If the plan requiremens (the ones that you have added to the test plan) are associated with the test cases in the test plan, it shows covered in the report. Otherwise, the plan requiremnts are not covered. Make sure you have run ETL before running this report.

Yes, it is as expected. The report does not consider the links of requirements in ReqPro itself. For RQM, we can only get the direct link of requirement with test plan and test case in RQM.
Per your inputting data, the report result is expected.
