Requiring FiledAgainst when Owner is not Unassigned

Our work items default to a WorkItemCategory/FiledAgainst of "Backlog" and in most cases, OwnedBy = Unassigned

When it gets assigned to a person (let's say Joe), then the FiledAgainst needs to be set to Joe's team (although Joe may be in 2 teams).  Is there a way to enforce in RTC that the work item cannot be saved if OwnedBy is anything OTHER than Unassigned AND filedAgainst = Backlog?  So that means that when it gets assigned to Joe, they cannot SAVE the work item without putting it into the right WorkItemCategory??

Hi Susan,

I think dynamic required attributes should work for you.  Check out https://jazz.net/library/article/537/.
