There is an existing technote http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24030663, which is supposed to be the latest versions of the IBM Rational process assets.
a) There are instructions on how to copy the iso26262.war to the application server webapps folder.
 - For Tomcat, there is an example given: C:\Program Files\IBM\jazzteamserver\server\tomcat\webapps
 - For WAS, nothing is mentioned, so:
       Q1) what is the procedure to install the iso26262.war with WAS?
b) Then if you open in a web browser the following link
https://<server>:<port>/iso26262/#publish.compliance.iso26262.base-ibm/guidances/supportingmaterials/tool_setup_config_CD73B270.html:
It is written "for RTC 4.0 use iso_26262_process_m3.zip ; for RTC 3.0 use ISO_26262_1.0.zip".
Q2) Can the iso_26262_process_m3.zip be imported in RTC 4.0.1? Is it compatible? If not, does a zip version exist for RTC 4.0.1?
Q3) Could the ISO 26262 process template be imported and used in RTC without the war deployed?

The customer tried with a test server with tomcat and RTC 4.0.1. They imported the iso_26262_process_m3.zip file and it worked for them.
