RQM Defect Reporting in CLM Lifecycle environment

David Beange (111359101) | asked Apr 04 '13, 9:52 a.m.
In a CLM set up with RTC (CM) Provides the Defects for RQM (QM) in V3 when the data warehouse is populated with defects and you run the standard defect reports from the QM menus no defects are found.

I'm trying to find if this has been improved or fixed for V4 or do i still need to use Insight or similar to create reports to show Defects and related test cases as per the standard reports.

Thanks

If  the nightly data warehouse collection jobs run successfully for all applications  then the RTC defects should show up in defect related Out of Box BiRT reports  in RQM like "Execution and Defects by owner" etc. This is  true in version 4 as well as in 3.0.1.*.  You need Insight if you use Clearquest for defect tracking with RQM.

If RTC defects are not showing up in reports, then make sure  that there are no errors reported with data warehouse jobs . Also, check  if the  test execution records  that spawned the defects are associated with test plans as all these reports need test plan as a parameter.
