JAZZ Application URL inaccessible from other machines

Hello Team,                                                             
          I have done a fresh installation of CLM 3.0.1 application on a windows box and configured http for all the applications. Followed the instructions from the link

This machine is accessible from other machines in the network but i am not able to access the applications from other machines. For example, URL: http://vi008ku-dby1-02.pbi.global.pvt/ccm is not accessible from other machines in the network. We have similar configuration for our production JAZZ server which is accessible. If it works locally it is not a tool issue and I would suggest working with your network administrators to find out what is going wrong.

If you can access the server from the local machine and NOT from the other clients, you probably have a network issue. For example being unable to ping vi008ku-dby1-02.pbi.global.pvt, ports not open in fire walls, missing or wrong DNS or DHCP entries.

There is a port="9443" mentioned which is probably https. The server.xml has more port entries, however, I don't think this makes a difference and your public URI should be https://vi008ku-dby1-02.pbi.global.pvt:9443/jts and https://vi008ku-dby1-02.pbi.global.pvt:9443/ccm and analogue if you installed on one machine.

This does not provide any more useful insight or more information. It especially noes not provide any information on your network problems. I doubt this will lead to a satisfactory answer.

Hi Vishnu,
What was your public uri value configured during the setup? Or you haven't performed the setup yet?
Are you using WAS or Tomcat?
I see no port in your url, Could you try following address: http://vi008ku-dby1-02.pbi.global.pvt:9080/ccm ?

To add to Krzysztof,

by default HTTPS is used. Tomcat is set to 9443. Default  https://vi008ku-dby1-02.pbi.global.pvt:9442/ccm would be the public URI.

To use HTTPS on the well known port configure Tomcat and WAS to use it. Well known HTTPs port is 443. So public URI for CCM would be
 https://vi008ku-dby1-02.pbi.global.pvt/ccm


If switching to HTTP (requires configuration on the app server) the well known port would be 80. Otherwise provide the port configured in Tomcat or WAS which is what is provided in the answer.

Please be aware that Tomcat by default redirects to HTTPS.

I am using tomcat and already ran the setup... I am able to access all the URLs from local browser.... problem is only appearing when accessing those from other machines in the network...

tried to access " http://vi008ku-dby1-02.pbi.global.pvt:9080/ccm  " which is again not accessible...
