BIRT - How can I add a filter to LARGE_STRING_KEY in data set WORKITEM_EXTRA_DATA

In a BIRT Report (in RTC 4.0.0.1 but not in 3.0.1), even when I add a filter for LARGE_STRING_KEY in data set WORKITEM_EXTRA_DATA, it retrieves all values of the key.

This can be seen in "Preview Results" in the data set definition, whether I add a filter or use a parameter.

Is there any way I can avoid retrieving every attribute?

This is a defect introduced into RTC 4. There is no workaround. I believe it's fixed in 4.0.3, but it's definitely fixed in 4.0.6

Hi Bill , Thanks. I'm using 401 and will try 403 later. BTW, since this data set will be binding to another main dataset, then I found it works well during the join session without the bug .

But it does retrieve all the records before doing the join!

Hi Bill,
Do you have a link to corresponding jazz.net work item?
