Out-of-the-box Agile Project

Chris Barlock (18814738) | asked Nov 20 '08, 2:34 p.m.
Our admin just set up a new Agile project for us. The out-of-the-box project includes in the Process Iterations:

Main Development (line)

Release 1.0 (iteration)

Sprint 1 (iteration)

Sprint 2 (iteration)

The release and two sprints are flagged complete. If I try to delete them, I'm told that "The iteration exists in the repository and might be referenced by other items, so it will not be deleted."

Seems rather pointless to include iterations that you can't use. (1) This seems like a "bug" in the Agile project template. (2) Is there a way to actually delete these iterations?

Hi, Chris.

This doesn't sound right. Please file a workitem against Process with
the steps you followed and we'll take a look.
