Remove a field in single type of Work Item

Andrew Harmel-Law (14612218) | asked Nov 20 '08, 12:04 p.m.
Hi,

I am trying to configure my Jazz Web UI. I was wondering if it is possible to remove / disable a single field / attribute for a certain type of work item? I.e. in a Bug, to disable the "found in" attribute.

TIA.

Cool. Thanks Larry.

Validation policies and cross-attribute dependencies are enhancements

Hi Larry,

How do you subtract fields? I can add custom attributes but can't see where to remove fields. Or is it just by changing the Editor presentation?

Also how can I validate data in fields eg. due date must be set to date in the future. Or text entered in Summary must follow a certain pattern?

Cheers
Freddy
The work item types are completely customizable, so you can add or subtract fields by type right now.

The other proposals were written up by Marcel in Task 64253:

... which I found by writing up your request and hitting Find Potential Duplicates :-)

Enjoy.
