RTC Server and Client on 64 bit hardware
Can anyone tell me if Both Server and Client can run on 64bit?
I know Eclipse can, the question is if all other components are suitable for 64 bit. |

While 64-bit platforms are not officially supported, it is possible to
get the client and server running in a 64-bit environment. - Matt Lavin Jazz Server Team On Tue, 2008-11-18 at 11:48 +0000, saar_netzer wrote: Can anyone tell me if Both Server and Client can run on 64bit? |
is it possible to get instructions on how to make it work with 64 bit platforms?

The most common way to get the server installed on a 64-bit platform is
to install the 64-bit version of WAS and then follow the instructions for installing Jazz/RTC into WAS. For Tomcat, the only step needed should be to replace the 32-bit VM that is packaged with a 64-bit VM. For the client, I would setup a 64-bit Eclipse install and then use installation manager to install the RTC client into your existing 64-bit Eclipse environment - Matt Lavin Jazz Server Team On Tue, 2008-11-18 at 13:38 +0000, saar_netzer wrote: is it possible to get instructions on how to make it work with 64 bit |
