JFS "triple Live" indexing issue in RTC

frederick carter (451217) | asked Feb 25 '13, 9:46 a.m.
Users are getting the following error when attempting to navigate through our rtc v3014:

"Internal Server Error Query timed out while waiting for index to update. Please verify that the indexing service is running properly and has finished indexing, and try again"

Based on the diagnostics I’m not sure where the error resides, ie, is it something going on with the application itself or is it related to database indexing?

According to the diagnostics we ran , the JFS Index has an issue and reports the following:

"JFS is Jazz Foundation Services:

An unrecoverable error stopped "triple live" indexing for private applications (java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError). Check logs files for more details."

has anyone else experience these issues? please help

These indexes are application specific related to RDF storage and query and not ordinary DB indexes.  I suggest you take the server offline and regenerate the indexes using repotools:

This is potentially a long running operation, so you probably want to run this overnight or on a weekend.
