scm login command is too restrictive

RTC 1.0 + LDAP + tomcat

I have 2 internet logins:

cawthorn@uk.ibm.com
chris.cawthorne@uk.ibm.com

My Jazz RTC userid is defined as one of these but I can login via a web browser using either of them. If I try to login using the scm.exe command, it will only let me login using the address that has actually been defined in the userid. I'm a bit surprised that the web UI and the scm command appear to use different login/authentication processes - is this intentional, or is this a bug?

The command-line interface authenticates in the same way as the GUI. This sounds like a problem further down the stack. I'm not familiar with the internals of login, so I can't really comment on it.
