Using ISPF BLZ command cannot login , jazzlock error message

Using z/OS ISPF RTC interface and the BLZ command.

Trying to log into the RTC respository.

Get this error message:

path /u/K351156/.jazz5/.jazzlock already acquired by conficting lock
/u/K351156/.jazz5/.jazzlock                                        

I deleted the .jazzlock file and flags but the error persists.

Now I can not use BLZ.

Any help would be appreciated.

JAZZ DEVELOPER
A cause of this error is if the users ISPF system abends causes the user to be disconnected from the ISPF client without the user ID logging off. This tech note describes the action that can be taken to fix the problem.
